WA Country Builders Tradies Travel to Help Rebuild Fiji

A group of trades from WA Country Builders have rallied together to travel to Fiji and offer their skills to help rebuild homes after Cyclone Winston.

Tropical Cyclone Winston is one of the largest category five storms to hit the region, with gusts of wind up to 325 kilometres per hour.

Andrew Seisun a long-term employee of over seven years at WA Country Builders in the South West Region will travel with his team, Keyan Swan, Neil Innes, Scott Elliot and Nick Gullan to tackle their first job on arrival, building a new roof for a Fijian family.

The boys raised part of the funds for the trip with a couple of good old fashioned Aussie sausage sizzles with the help of the local Home Hardware store in Margaret River.

The team are grateful to receive the support of WA Country Builders and various other South West business’ who are making this possible.

Cyclone Winston is said to have flattened entire villages and Fiji INC National Chairman Ps Sevu Cakau is currently assessing the damage reporting back to Global Care’s International Office in order to put together an appropriate disaster response plan.
